Topics Addressed at Last Meeting on June 16th:

  • Reviewed our progress to date; we are engaging in meaningful discussions with real estate professionals, developers, and fundraisers
  • Reviewed a number of task areas and the progress to date. Received a report from Ellen Martin, on the impact of the liquidation of trust assets on the operating budget.
  • Discuss format and organization of subcommittee report. Drew Boatner will create first draft.
  • Next Meeting:

    Monday, June 23th, at 7:00 pm; St. Thomas’ Parish – Guild Room

    • Review draft report

    Parishioners Feedback Needed: Our committee’s goal is to take a financial inventory of all parish assets and potential revenue sources potentially available to the parish. We will research all feasible options with the intention of providing reliable and quantifiable facts and analysis to the Discernment committee, Vestry, and Parish members so they can make an informed decision on the future growth of the parish.

    We would encourage everyone in the parish to review the Finance committee’s charge and provide any information or resources which may assist with our review. And we would encourage anyone to join the Finance committee to lend their time and talents to the process.
