Topics Address ed at Last Meeting: Process for producing the weekly report. Providing instruction for subcommittees to upload them to the growth web site. Adding a tag line on report to help define “discernment”: Envisioning the Future of our Physical Space. There will be an announcement at each 10AM service directing parishioner attention to the weekly report and any item that a subcommittee may want specific feedback on. Another parishioner will assure that all 5PM service attendees are handed the weekly insert and told to read it! While announcements are usually not made at the 5PM, this individual will make the rounds after the service is over. Encouraging discussion threads on web. Use of bulletin boards, laptops, questionnaires at church to post a question from a subcommittee and solicit opinions. Providing weekly e-mail announcement on subcommittee meetings with the RSS link to the growth web site. Divided up names of Discernment non-participants for subcommittee members to call to solicit their thoughts on the process and ways they prefer to get information. One subcommittee member will provide us with a framework for the call. This list will be provided to all the other subcommittees for their use in soliciting information or membership for their committee.

Assessing how our first attempt of subcommittee upload of weekly reports went, as well as our subcommittee’s review of these reports. Discussion of the personal contacts made with non-participants in the Discernment process. Further discussion for publicity/info gathering plans during coffee hour.

Feedback Needed from Parishioners: Continue to let us know what additional information you need to hear from the Discernment Committee and the subcommittees, as well as other modes of communication that you feel may be effective.
