Starting in early 2008, St. Thomas' Parish is exploring the possibilities of launching a capital campaign for expanding the church.

In the Beginning 

Before that happens, there are some very deliberate steps that must be taken to ensure that the project is possible, all voices have been heard and whether adequate funds can even be raised.

This site is designed as a center for the information relating to growth at St. Thomas' Parish. With it, we hope to adequately explain the process the parish is undergoing, and where we are in that process. It will be a reporting location for the discovery, fianancial, construction and other general aspects of the project. It will deliver documents and follow-up materials from discussions and meetings. In addition to communicating outward, a discussion forum allows for communication from parishioners and friends in response and with eachother. And, of course, will be a tool in moving us forward in the discovery process.

The Campaign

Following the initial discovery—and if St. Thomas' determines that a capital campaign is possible—this site will metamorphose into reporting the status of the campaign itself. It will continue to report on the status of the key areas of the campaign, with the added element of how the fundraising is progressing and how parishioners and friends can help us achieve our goals.
